1) Snow Patrol actually aren’t a good band
2) Rod Stewart doesn’t look quite right
3) Any time anyone has ever said to me “you love it” – I haven’t
4) Toilet seat lids really seem like a waste of both time and porcelain
5) I don’t watch football for the rest of the year, why would I start worshipping because it’s “the big game”
6) It was a shame about Shrek 3, brave that they’re having another stab at it
7) In the great ‘scone pronounciation debate’ the argument that ‘e‘ dictates that the word is pronounced “s-cone” (as opposed to “s-con”) because the general grammatical rule is that the e capitalizes the pronunciation in words of this variety, doesn’t hold; English has so many exceptions to generally held grammatical rules, it isn’t an absolute, especially not in this case.
8) “Hello Spotify, I love Spotify, it’s great, is there a way I can put the songs on my iPod?”
- WTH!? OF COURSE YOU CAN’T PUT ALL THAT FREE MUSIC ON YOUR iPOD! THE SITE YOU’RE LOOKING FOR IS CALLED LIMEWIRE!
9) I like Marmite…
LOVE this page!!
I feel a deep need to comment on every point……..
1. Depends on your definition of ‘good’ …their songs all sounds quite similar, so I think perhaps you mean that Snow Patrol aren’t terribly original/varied…?
2. I’ve always thought the same *twitches nervously*
3. Apart from Without A Trace ;-)
4. I agree 99% …….my 1% of reserve is that when someone has let rip with a real stinky one, it does marginally improve matters if, even after smothering the toilet in bleach, you can shut the lid and open the bathroom window…..does make the smell disappear faster, which has to be a plus!
5. Preach it brother!!
6. Haven’t seen it yet but I feared as much, and yes I agree…..
7. I’ve always pronounced it ‘s-con’ not ‘s-cone’ …..it’s just how I was brought up – I think with words like scone it really comes down to dialect, not grammar.
8. LOL :-D Some people are just stupid :-P
9. All the best people do!!!
Look forward to the next post……..
